Welcome to Timesave For Next, the Indie Speedrunning Library!

What is TSFN?

This is a repository of indie game speedrunning notes, routes, glossaries, and miscellany -- sort of a cross-game wiki, aiming for breadth of game and aiming generally at beginner speedrunners and those looking to make the jump from casual playthroughs of games into various speedrunning communities. As is often brought up in speedrunning and game preservation circles, Discord is a walled garden, not indexed by search engines, and it's where the vast majority of speedrunning communities put the vast majority of their resources.

Even beyond the actual information barrier, there is often a natural community barrier built up as speedruns age -- as time goes on, the community naturally gets better at the game, routes get more refined, and more jargon is added to the community. TSFN tries to take an outsider's look at these speedrunning circles, break it down, and help newcomers to the scene as a whole or specific communities find their way to break in -- whether that's for one quick run after a casual playthrough or as a bridge to a lifetime hobby.

Welcome, come check out one of our speedgames! The return policy is keep playing as long as you like. :)

TSFN is maintained by three ducks in a trenchcoat. Don't feed them, they absolutely bite. Have a game you'd like to contribute a guide or information for? Reach out via Discord or Twitch!

As I'm sure you've already noticed, everything here is under construction in a major way. I'm trying to get a little bit of this undertaking done every day, so check back to see progress in the initial site!
